Subhadra's chariot, known as Darpadalana, literally meaning crusher of pride, is forty-three feet high and has twelve wheels, each seven feet in diameter. The chariot is covered with red and black cloth, black being the colour traditionally associated with Shakti and the Mother Goddess.
